Tauban Lefort
I build systems.
In industry, I structure complex technical work, turning uncertainty into executable form.
Background: computational physics, materials science, modeling, product development. I work where apparent noise hides rules.
Outside That Frame
I build parallel systems.
DJ sets as temporal architectures.
A podcast exploring relational structures.
Physical spaces like Les Cabanes.
Kaleidoscopes, sites, small digital experiments.
Each a bounded world with its own rules.
Signal ≠ Surface
What we see is not the thing itself.
It is the signature of a process.
Observation / Perturbation
A pattern is evidence.
A form is residue.
A composition is constrained interaction made visible.
Observation describes.
Perturbation reveals.
Change one parameter.
Watch reorganization.
Structure appears.

Product design.
Technical systems.
Strange small digital worlds.
The Simulation Above
No global choreography.
Only local rules.
What you see is a temporary equilibrium.
Field
Bounded 4 × 5 lattice.
One shape per cell.
Movement restricted to adjacent cells.
Behavior
Each shape carries a bias:
axis · polarity · turn.
Preference order defines local personality.
Events
- Empty target → move.
- Same color → merge.
- Merge removes one instance. A pulse marks the event.
- Boundary reached → bias flips. Motion continues.
Growth
Spawning adapts to density.
Sparse → growth increases.
Crowded → growth slows.
New shapes prefer proximity.
Color inheritance reinforces clustering.
